Most people are now wanting a full HD setup in their home and in order to
enjoy movies on a disc in high definition you are going to need a Blu Ray
player. And if Sony are your choice of electronic equipment, as they are
with so many people due to the incredible high quality that they offer, then
you are going to need a Sony Blu Ray player.
The Sony Blu Ray player are brilliant. Hook them up to a Sony Bravia TV or
any other full HD for that matter and you are going to get an unbelievable
on screen quality. It will include a level of detail that you will simply
not believe but more than that it will also just have the sheer quality that
puts them above most other brands.
Blu Ray is far better than the old DVD's and so if you are wondering whether
to upgrade or not then we can assure you that you will be very happy that
you did. The level of detail in the picture is much better and really does
make the old DVD's look very poor and as well as that you also get HD audio

Picture
The picture quality of a Sony Blu Ray player is incredible and offers the
full HD 1080p resolution. They offer the 24p True Cinema technology which
delivers content at 24 frames per second which is how most movies are made
and so you see the movie in exactly the format it was intended. As well as
this the Sony Blu Ray players also have the x.v.Colour technology which offers
much more life like colours for a very realistic picture.
Sound
Most Sony Blu Ray players offer
7.1 HD sound and so as long as you have a good home cinema system you are going
to get some beautiful sound. The HD audio is uncompressed and so has a better
sound quality and the 7.1 sound also has two more channels than the old 5.1
systems although they can obviously still deliver 5.1 sound if that is the
amount of speakers that you currently have.
Interactive
The new Sony Blu Ray players have the awesome BD Live feature and so you
can access interactive content for the movie that you are watching. All you
have to do is give the Sony Blu Ray player an Internet connection via the
ethernet port and you will be able to enjoy all of this excellent interactive
content.
